14th Annual Veterans Holiday Celebration Featuring Jim Belushi, Proclaimed Huge Success Honoring Over 2,800 Veterans and Active Service Personnel and Their Families "The Annual Veteran's Holiday Celebration is the nation's largest volunteer event of its kind for Veterans put on entirely by volunteers". It takes place the first Sunday in December. This year it took place on Sunday, December 3, 2006 between 1:30pm -7:30pm on the grounds of The Veterans Affairs Administration next to the Wadsworth Theater (11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA) in Brentwood, California, and surpassed initial attendance figures by feeding and entertaining over 2,800 Veterans and Active Service Personnel & their families. It is "free to all Veterans and Active Service personnel and their families". It is entirely "funded by private donations". (PRWeb Dec 4, 2006)
