Last week Google Inc. proudly announced they were planning to allow advertisers to place video ads on their vast network of websites later this week. The press across the world heralded the imminent arrival of Google into the TV Advertising arena and their invasion of the 60 billion plus cash cow of the big TV networks. Quietly, under Google’s radar, a start-up in Florida launched their pay per click online video advertising network on May 16, 2006, disrupting Google’s announcement to be the first and only company to take a slice of the pay-per-click video advertising pie.
