Seket Aanru Remixes Hollywood

Honor Amongst Thebes the DVD, at first glance seems to be the strangest thing you’ve ever seen until you notice it’s magnetic appeal. From the opening menu it’s in your face. I was in DC visiting a friend and came across it in a friend’s movie library. So I put it in the DVD player and sat on the couch to watch it. I really didn’t know what to expect. I kind of thought it would be interviews with the best in hip hop but it turned out to be much more. It started with a cartoon version of Akira. If you’ve seen it you know the part when they are having the riots and all hell is breaking loose. Normally I wouldn’t want to see it but the audio has been changed to Tupac and Bone’s classic World War III. The way they layer the music it gives an entirely different feel to the film pieces which when put together tell an entirely original story and coincide with chapter 1 of their book. Which is posted on their website. [PRWEB Sep 25, 2005]
